Using ILS Data to Stay Patron-Focused (at the Yonkers Grinton I. Will Library) In-Person

Using ILS Data to Stay Patron Focused! is an in-person workshop at the Yonkers Grinton I. Will Library, designed to help you use all the parts of the ILS together and in conjunction with other library activities to learn things that can help you, your patrons, and your community. Like:

  • Running a report to find out who doesn't have an email so you can contact them and encourage them to set that up, along with newsletters, etc.
  • Doing the opposite of weeding - looking at what parts of collections or even items circ the most so that you can get more of that.
  • Running a report to find items in conjunction with a program that you're holding.
  • Running a baseline report to find out when patrons circ the most so that after you've run some well-attended programs - and checked out the items that match your programs - you can run it again to show the change.
  • Using the public catalog to advertise collections and programs you'd like to promote.
