Lunch & Learn: Preparing for #LibraryGivingDay on April 1, 2025 Part 1 Online
Library Giving Day is April 1, 2025. Library Giving Day started as an idea generated by the Seattle Public Library Foundation. The concept was to create a national day of giving that public libraries would rally around and that the public would embrace.
Part 1 will explain #LibraryGivingDay and its benefits, how over the years libraries throughout the country have used #LibraryGivingDay to advocate for library support and promote library programs. And we'll discuss what you need to prepare and tools to support your efforts for a successful campaign. .
Part 2 will cover specific strategies to implement a successful program using the tool kit. We'll also hear from libraries that have had successful giving days.
