Sustainable Westchester and Sustainable Libraries In-Person

Sustainable Westchester and the Westchester Library System are partnering to deliver a comprehensive workshop for library leaders and government officials. We will discuss services that can deliver real benefits for library patrons – whether in the form of utility bill savings, access to free advisory support, or funding resources that can lower the upfront cost of energy improvements for homes and businesses. Libraries can also leverage Sustainable Westchester’s expertise to access grant opportunities, technical assistance, and other pathways to enhance their resiliency and sustainability.

Additionally, learn how the Sustainable Libraries Initiative can help your library certify its commitment to environmental stewardship, economic feasibility, and social equity. This workshop will be a great way to learn how your library can expand its community connectivity and local impact.
